What is Tres Dias?

Tres Dias is not your typical “retreat,” but an encounter with Christ. If you ask those who have experienced this three-day weekend, you may hear words like: renewed, refreshed, rekindled. And they will tell you their walk with Christ is deeper and more meaningful.
Why is that? Because they sensed God’s love in such a dynamic way that it motivates them to impact their home and work environments for Christ. They return from the weekend inspired to use their gifts and talents as servant leaders in their local church.
Tres Dias is a lay-led ministry with clergy playing an active role. The focus of the weekend is God’s unqualified love for each of us through grace. We do not discuss doctrine, but instead, stress the things Bible-believing denominations have in common, while respecting the things that are different. Our Tres Dias “Statement of Beliefs” are based on the historical principles of the Christian Church.

Central Florida Tres Dias is a community of believers in the Lord Jesus Christ. We are a lay-led movement with active clergy participation. It is a branch of Tres Dias International. We are a non-profit organization, and we actively seek the participation of people of all Christian denominations in our area. There are many other communities in the United States and overseas.
We actively seek a relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by participating in a weekend of living in Christian community involving a combination of carefully developed activities and teachings which are meant to lead to a fuller personal commitment to Christ.
The Spanish words "Tres Dias" mean "Three Days." The Tres Dias movement endeavors to bring Christians to a closer, more personal walk with the Lord, Jesus Christ, and to encourage them to Christian leadership and apostolic action in their environments.
